This small 1,600 sf project expanded an existing Pharmacy operated by UNC’s Campus Health within UNC’s Student Stores to be able to process more prescriptions for students and to expand their retail display of over-the-counter medications. A pop-up vaccine clinic had existed in the adjacent bookstore space but was inadequate to serve the student population at the beginning of each academic year. RND worked closely with the Campus Health decision-makers to provide a fully functional clinic in the most efficient space possible.  The resultant Mini Clinic includes two exam rooms, a small lab, vitals area, one ADA compliant patient toilet, vaccination area, reception area, and waiting room.
