We are located in Durham NC and have 12 employees, including architects, architectural designers, and BIM technicians. We are dedicated to a positive, employee-friendly atmosphere and offer competitive salaries and a full benefits package.

We’re Looking For…

PROJECT ARCHITECT

We are looking for a licensed architect that will be capable of managing multiple projects of varying complexity and scale. Candidates should have mature design capabilities and be interested in sharing their talents with others at RND.

Specific responsibilities will include:

Prepare design and construction drawings in coordination with Principals and Project Managers.
Demonstrate project management and staff leadership skills.
Experience in client interaction and team coordination from design through construction.

Qualifications we are looking for:

Prepare design and construction drawings in coordination with Principals and Project Managers.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in all phases and aspects of a project (pre- design through closeout)

A working knowledge of design/construction liabilities, risks, and responsibilities.
Proficient with advanced technology (Revit, Sketch-Up, Microsoft Projects)
A professional degree in Architecture and licensed to practice architecture within the United States (preferably North Carolina)
Minimum of 10 years experience in a design firm.
